November 29, 2024, Kolkata:

ICAR- National Institute of Natural Fibre Engineering & Technology (NINFET), Kolkata organized a five-day online training programme on “Value Chain Management in Natural Fibres” in collaboration with “National Institute of Agricultural Extension Management (MANAGE) from 25^th to 29^th November, 2024.

 Dr. D.B. Shakyawar, Director, ICAR-NINFET welcomed all the participants.  Dr. Pradip Dey, Director ICAR-ATARI, Kolkata and Dr. K. Srinivas, PS, NAARM, Hyderabad were the chief guests at inauguration and valedictory session of the training programme.

Training programme received great response as 52 participants have joined from 33 different ICAR research institutes, state agricultural universities, private industries, Colleges, entrepreneurs etc. Total training programme covered 20 lectures from seven different institutes, pertaining to the different aspects corroborated with the value chain of natural fibres.
