A 3-days skill development training on jute diversified products sponsored by ATMA, Kishanganj was inaugurated here today at ICAR-NINFET, Kolkata.

Dr. D. B. Shakyawar, Director, ICAR-NINFET in his inaugural address has emphasized upon the diversification of jute products for better market share through entrepreneurship development.

Dr. Laxmikanta Nayak, Head, Transfer of Technology Division has welcomed the trainees and briefed about institute activities.

Dr. V. B. Shambhu, Principal Scientist & Coordinator of the training has highlighted upon the objective of this training.

Mr. Sudip Singh, ATM, ATMA, Kishanganj has stressed upon the future collaboration of ATMA with ICAR-NINFET for betterment of jute growers.

The inaugural programme was ended with hearty vote of thanks from Er. H. Baite, Scientist & Co-Coordinator of the training. Twenty-two (22) farmers associated with jute cultivation and processing have participated in this training.
