ICAR-National Institute of Natural Fibre Engineering and Technology (ICAR-NINFET) organized a workshop with representatives from FPOs/FPCs/NGOs at its campus.

The event focused on aligning processes for organizing Front Line Demonstrations (FLDs), training programs, and other activities with government regulations, including Goods and Services Tax (GST) compliance.

Dr. D.B. Shakyawar, Director of ICAR-NINFET, highlighted the importance of GST registration and emphasized the institute's commitment to outreach activities.

During the workshop, FPO, FPC, and NGO representatives shared the successes of their entrepreneurs who were trained by ICAR-NINFET, along with their ongoing and planned initiatives in collaboration with the institute.   Representatives from the Krishicraft also presented their digital solution for marketing the jute products.

Attendees included 40 representatives from 20 FPOs, FPCs, and NGOs across West Bengal, as well as ICAR-NINFET officials from various departments.
