15^th December 2024, Kolkata:

Natural Fibre based bio-degradable Vegan Leather unit licensed by ICAR-NINFET was set-up by M/s Parna Creation Private Limited, Shivamogga, Karnataka. This unit was inaugurated by Sri D.S. Arun, MLC of Shivamogga in the presence of Dr. D.B. Shakyawar, Director, ICAR-NINFET, Kolkata on December 15, 2024.

Mr. Suresh SR, CEO of Parna Creation Private Limited welcomed all the dignitaries present in the function and highlighted the importance of local raw material and rural based economy.

Dr. D.B. Shakyawar, Director has emphasized the importance of the vegan leather and its role in Sustainable Development Goal (SDG).

Chief Guest of the function, Shri D.S. Arun has stressed the need of the local for vocal and waste-to-wealth economical model of development of Karnataka State.

Sri D.M. Shankarappa, Board Member, Federation of Karnataka Chamber of Commerce and Industries, Bangalore, Sri Gopinath, President, Chamber of Commerce and Industries, Shivamogga were also present on this occasion.
